While engineering is a significant part of the heritage of Marshall, the University has not granted an undergraduate degree in Engineering since 1976.

Soon this will change. A talented group of students at the College of Information Technology and Engineering will soon comprise the college's first four-year engineering class in three decades.

Through The Bridge, we will fully fund a cutting-edge Engineering Laboratory facility. This will:

• provide the essential resources required for accreditation.

• deliver the most advanced tools to set our engineering program above that of other universities.

• fully outfit a 16,000-square-foot facility that will house materials, soils, hydraulics, and environmental labs.
