Marshall Leaders Hit Campaign Trail
Marshall President Dan Angel, Coach Bob Pruett and several other members of Marshall University's management team will travel in support of the university's Campaign for National Prominence during the month of June.
"We are excited about the opportunity to see alumni and other friends of Marshall in the cities we visit," said Keith Spears, Marshall's Vice President for Institutional Advancement and one of the co-directors of the campaign. Spears will be making the trip with Angel and Pruett as well as Sarah N. Denman, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Lance West, Vice President for Alumni Development.
Visits are scheduled to Columbus, Ohio on June 5; to Cincinnati on June 6, to Charlotte, N.C. on June 10 and to Lexington, Ky. on June 11.
Greeting and working with the Huntington-based Marshall group will be Campaign for National Prominence chair Tim Haymaker in Lexington, Vice Chairs Jim and Verna Gibson in Columbus, Jim and Bobbie Farley in Cincinnati, and Jan Roy in Charlotte.
